Members of the Guild of Craft Soap and Toiletry Makers, Cath Swindells one of our owners took the plunge and became a Master Soap maker during the lockdown in 2020.

 

Our hand made Soaps are available on our website and also instore, including our exclusive Donkey Milk Soap which is great for sensitive skins.

We offer a click & collect service if you prefer to pick up from our beautiful store or we can post your gift direct to you or your loved one.

Our Beautiful Shop is located in Matlock Bath which is famous for its thermal spring waters, during victorian times tourists would flock from London by train or coach to experiance the healing benefits of the water.

At the Old Apothecary Shop we have aimed to capture that same experiance by the products we have chosen to stock, Fikkerts certainly is one of those brands , Starting out in the early 1900’s.
